Home qualifies for FHA 203 (b) Financing with less than $5000 in repairs to bring it up to the Minimum Property Standard to be completed by the buyer within 90 days from the date of
closing. Owner occupants have 30 days to present their offer to HUD before an investor can make an offer.
Uninsured
Homes do not qualify for FHA 203 (b) Financing due to estimated repairs of more than $5000. Owner occupants have 5 days to present their offer to HUD before an investor can make an offer.
HUD promotes home ownership and offers bid advantages where owner occupants have a time period to present an offer before an investor can. Special Financing programs are also available.
